Information about Real Estate Photography Post Processing
1. Image Correction and Enhancement:
- Exposure and White Balance Adjustment: I ensure each photo is well-lit and color-balanced to provide a natural and welcoming feel for the property.
- High Dynamic Range (HDR) Editing: I merge multiple exposures to capture the full range of light in a scene, making sure both interior and exterior details are perfectly visible, even in challenging lighting situations.
- Sky Replacement: I use Photoshop’s advanced tools to replace dull or overcast skies with vibrant, clear ones to make exterior photos pop, creating an inviting first impression.
2. Perspective Correction:
- Lens Distortion Correction: Real estate photography often involves wide-angle lenses. I correct any distortion, ensuring straight lines and a more accurate representation of the property.
- Vertical and Horizontal Alignment: I adjust the perspective of photos to avoid any tilting or skewed lines, ensuring that the property looks as accurate and appealing as possible.
3. Virtual Enhancements:
- Removing Unwanted Elements: Whether it’s a power line, trash can, or any other distracting elements, I can seamlessly remove them to ensure the focus stays on the home’s best features.
4. Color Grading and Aesthetic Styling:
- Custom Color Tones: I apply unique color grading to make the photos more aesthetically pleasing, enhancing the mood and atmosphere of each shot.
- Highlighting Key Features: By adjusting brightness, contrast, and saturation, I bring attention to key features like countertops, flooring, and windows that are often the selling points of a property.
5. Detailing and Touch-ups:
- Sharpening and Noise Reduction: I ensure that all images are crisp and clear, reducing any noise while keeping the sharpness intact to make the photos look professional.
- Retouching and Clean-Up: I clean up small imperfections like dust, fingerprints, or smudges on surfaces to give a polished, pristine look to the photos.
